About Diaspora Impact
CIC
Our story
At Diaspora Impact CIC we believe in lasting change by improving access to mental health support, education, research, and wellbeing initiatives across the United Kingdom, Ghana, and other African countries.
Rooted in lived experience and a deep understanding of underserved communities, we work to break barriers arising from stigma, cultural misunderstandings, limited services, and inequality. We also turn “brain drain” into “brain gain” by connecting skilled diaspora professionals with communities that can benefit from their expertise.
We believe responsive programmes, including mental health awareness, trauma-informed support, youth resilience initiatives, entrepreneurship training, creative arts, research, mentorship, and professional exchanges, we empower individuals, voices are heard and we strengthen communities.
What we believe
We believe that ethical, structured engagement can turn brain drain into brain circulation.
By aligning partnerships with local priorities and global ethical standards, we help strengthen health systems, build research capacity, and drive measurable clinical and academic growth for host institutions and visiting professionals.
